- Mizzou Baseball has had four of its last five mid-week games rained out. This is getting crazy.
- All these split series with highly-ranked teams has finally gotten Mizzou Softball some notice. They're up to #18 in the latest polls. If they can avoid a split with Nebraska (i.e. actually sweep them), they at least share the Big XII title. Games are in Columbia--2pm on Saturday, 1pm on Sunday. As far as I can tell, it's not supposed to rain then. It just rains Monday-Friday.
- ESPN has more coverage of Big XII Spring Football today. Here's a nice article about QB races in the conference. Graham Harrell vs Taylor Potts at Tech. Sam "Jesus" Keller vs Joe Ganz at Nebraska. Sam Bradford vs Joey Halzle at OU. Cody "Coach's Son" Hawkins vs Nick "Who?" Nelson at Colorado. Kerry Meier vs Todd Reesing at Kansas. Michael Machen vs Blake Szymanski at Baylor. Lots of good races. Those teams with settled QB situations (Missouri, Texas, ATM) are at an advantage in a league where almost everybody is looking for established pass rushers.
- And here's another team-by-team Spring Notebook. ESPN's had some pretty good spring coverage this year.
