As one who holds football and basketball season tickets that require a 250-mile round trip per game, I'm in no position to carp on fanaticism in sports, but this strikes me as existing on the leading-edge of crazy. Southlake Carroll High School (Chase Daniel's alma mater) is selling personal seat licenses for its home football games. And demand far outpaces supply. In fact, parents of some pre-school students are trying to buy tickets now to ensure they'll have a seat if and when their toddlers make the varsity. Soon, I suspect we'll see SLC ticket brochures in Dallas-area obstetricians' offices.
